Sicilian Scheveningen - At First Glance

A variation from the World's finest openings the Sicilian Defense is the Sicilian Scheveningen which is characterized by hitting the tempo and solid mid way defense of Bd7 and Be7 for black. Recently I frequently explore the possibilities of this game and quite amazed of the solidity for black and the tactical aggression of white. Black must play in the queen side while white must bombard attacks at the king side.

Few steps to complete of what I think is a good play of Scheveningen are 1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 e6 3. Nc3 Nf6 4.d4 cxd4 5. Nxd4 Be7 6. Be2 Nc6 7. Be3 Bd7 8. 0-0 a6. This is basically my way to play this game and the rest of up to the player. While I'm still at the stage of learning the basic of chess, this opening makes me comfortable playing with my chess friends and even in the recent competition that I participated. Although we are at a level of chess "amateurs", this makes the game more exciting.

Today whenever I come across a chess board this opening is my top priority. I keep on this setting to search for its greatest strength and win. I know this theme isn't the best for everybody but at least I think I can win some chess if this happens. "Drawish" lines for black is also possible that's why this is my favorite against better players including tournaments.

After all this Baby boy was named Jon Earl Bernard "dOy" Villapaz Jumalon. A God's gift for my Detsi and her husband Tan2x. Bares his innocent smile, intelligent look and infinite charisma as natural as he is. hehe. He is very precious. Obviously I'm gonna miss this little guy here if ever our paths tend to stretch apart each other. But as the saying goes, "we don't have to worry, because we were still seeing the same sky anywhere". I'm still gonna be he's Handsome Tito forever. hahahaha. And it turns out that this is my blog. The End.

Bizarre birth - Tiniest Babies

Babies naturally spends 40 weeks in its mother's womb until it sees the world. The development and growth of every part of its body including the its senses occur during this period. In the event, the important things to this process are the baby's supplements in order to survive. Also the incubation period must be fully utilize to the normal number of days in its mother's womb.But for some bizarre cases babies are born earlier than expected. That's what they called a premature baby. The survival rates for premature babies born at 22 weeks is less than 10% that makes it a rare occurrence of birth.

May 20, 1987 in Ottawa, Canada, James Elgin Gil was born as the world's youngest surviving premature baby. He was born 21 weeks and 5 days into gestation(more than 18 weeks too early). Because of the slightest percentage of survival for premature babies, this guy has been very lucky that he weight 1.1 lbs (482 g) at birth, which increases his chances of survival. The hospital decided to bring him to the intensive care and now he grows healthy and doing good.

Other case of prematurity is the baby named Amillia Sonja Taylor of Florida, USA. Refer to the picture above, she was pronounced as the tiniest single baby which was born twenty one weeks and six days but weighed only ten ounces (283g). It was really amazing that to its unnaturally small size and incubation period she survived after they brought her to the intensive care. And now she is also a healthy growing baby.

Compostela Comval Province

Compostela, a town located at the mid section of ComVal Province. With three hours bus ride from Davao City, the fully cemented roads within ComVal lessen the hassles of commuting throughout the place. The trees and rice fields alongside the national highways has also become the major attraction upon entering the vicinity that elegantly expresses its natural beauties. Locating midway to the town lays the huge Agusan River that subdivides the two adjacent towns of Compostela and Montevista. Known from its bowl shaped valley it is surrounded by lakes, rivers, mountain ranges, hills and giant trees that geographically protects the place from devastating typhoons.

The main agricultural products provided by Compostela were bananas and rice, but some other vegetable crops like corns and tomatoes were also available in little numbers. Banana plantations were operating sideways to manufacture fresh and exportable bananas outside the Philippines in bundles of shipments. Thus become one of its biggest industries that cover roughly 45 percent of the town's total income. Living in Compostela is like living in a little paradise of both urban and rural areas. Urban like life of bars, mini-malls, internet cafes and provision of basic needs were available through the initiative of few Comvaleneo businessmen to provide the place a life comparable to a city. The Borios Bar located northeast part of the municipal gym offers Filipino style seafood delicacies and bar beverages captures the taste of Comvaleneo and non-Comvaleneo youngsters. Mini-mouse internet cafe has also been a major hangout for an internet savvy young men and young gamers. Some kids from the near towns visit to the place to look for competitive online and offline gamers to play for tournaments. Malls like GS Gaisano of Davao City is also starting its construction and soon be operated at full pace. For the meantime grocery stores are the main providers of grocery products all over the town.

After all, these Compostela is the town where I was born and grew up. Here is my family, my life and my homeland that makes me who I am. :)

Bamboo - Compostela's Pride

Needless to say, the image above is one relaxing scenery that every nature lovers must see. The pride of Compostela, Valley is a cold spring surrounded by gigantic trees near the river. The trees were some proof on how the place's temperature has become colder. Provided with swimming pools and cottages, the place is perfect for summer getaways, picnic, field trips or a simple get together with friends. Despite the fact that this is a far away land from Davao City, it's still worth the effort to visit the place because of its natural beauty. And the cold spring itself can be an ease to the feeling of stress of everyday deadlines. Coldness is cool!

Together with my "ex-officemates"/few of my friends above is a picture taken from the pool side of Bamboo Resort.Behind us right after the pool were cottages intended for guests who wants to rent to set in place. But since we were the VIP guests, we occupied the convention area (not in the pic).

Bizarre Birth - Oldest Mother

A fact that I could always recall is about women in which in her menopausal age will never give birth to a child anymore. Until I read the story of Rajo Devi, a 70 years old woman gave birth to her child last 2008. Living with her husband, she unsuccessfully tried to become pregnant all throughout their 50 years of marriage and thought it was impossible when she went through menopause in her late 50s. However, after entering a fertility program, Devi was successfully impregnated by a donor egg that was fertilized with the sperm of her 72 year old husband. On December 6th, she gave birth to a cute baby girl. After the doctor's check ups they have announced that both the mother and daughter were very healthy. Latest reports claim that the happy septuagenarians are attempting again in hopes of having a baby boy. For the record, Rajo had become the oldest mother that conceives in history.

The story of the picture below is the one in a million chances of mixed-race couple to have twins as if of different races. Literally of different races because of their respective complexions. They look the same but of different skin color. A British couple Dean Durrant and Allison Spooner give birth to their children extraordinarily like this twice in a row. They have a remarkable 2 sets of twins of different colors.

Miya and Leah Durrant (Below) were born in December 2008 and their older sisters Hayleigh and Lauren were born seven years earlier. Miya has the black hair and dark complexion of her father Dean Durrant and older sister Hayleigh while Leah has blue eyes and paler skin just like mom Alison Spooner and older sister Lauren. But despite the differences of cultures and colors the couples still live a normal picture of a happy family.

"Knowledge is Power", the late Ka Ernie Baron said. Knowledge indeed constitutes power. Once we already know something it follows to a sign that we have the edge over the other who doesn't know anything. An advantage describing a power to simplify things and attract success.

When I wrote the title earlier, I was not thinking about winning a competition. Or something to describe training and winning like those athletes. My intention is only to provide a reflection on a particular personal experience. Even though it's just a little experience it does gave me a particular strategy that I might use in the future. This is all about the time I spent practicing a DT motorcycle. In the FIRST TRY, of single instruction and no assistance I made it drive all the way to the Poblacion on my own. Quite an achievement indeed. I was so happy about it. Although it isn't rare, its just that I learn something from it. The efficiency of my driving skills depends on the knowledge I've learned from the past I've learned from driving a 4wd. I thought I can't do it but still on the first try I made it run easier.

What makes this story important for me was because it motivates me to do better things using some knowledge from the past. Provided with similar mechanisms we can actually act to something we don't know with a fair percentage on success of execution. Theories by theories it is wiser to make an avalanche effect to make a faster rate of learning. If you know something proceed tying another which is similar to everything you already knew. That's seems obvious but I think it's good to remind us all basic things like this. :D

Since I am officially a manga fanatic I would like to discuss topics that is absolutely known to manga society. These are the forces that controls or give birth to the powers of some manga heroes/characters. Basically there are three major manga series with their corresponding spiritual energy terms I will talk here. Namely the reiatsu,haki and chakra.

Focus and Determination

Previously many things happened to my life. All the troubles have come to me that I can't barely stand. It feels like I'm not fitting into the trail. Something suffocates me. That all I did was just a mere defense. I simply didn't fight back that well and it messes up the road I took. Too messed up. Just like a maze where almost everything comes to a dead end. I see no light. I hear no voice. It's just me and the long uncharted roads I must take. But despite the difficulties something assures me. In chess, I never encounter a puzzle without a solution. There must be something that lies behind this journey. A move that will surely bring forth victory.

So while hanging up with this little controversies, never in my mind came a sort of thing the wants of finding back my trails. Nevertheless I wanted to explore more into the horizons with the feeling of overwhelming desire to make a way into the darkened trails forward. This is my journey. I want to do this for myself and for the people who still believe in me. Although I think I almost lost all of them now. haha.

Anyway still in my humble opinion, with the will to win,all this would happen with a constant focus and determination. Recall things that reminds me to what I was being here for. Learn new things. All these must get into my nerves. The value of winning is the only thing that brings the smoothness of the road I took.

Back Again

For many months that I've left this blog it feels like trying to figure out this thing again. The settings, the add-ons and most likely the way to make this thing work for me again. This might be a pain in the ass(LOL Bleach) but i'm patient enough.Nevertheless this would be my first time back again to basic. I wish this would somehow help me do the blogging again.

So to start with, I like to make a post that would somehow make me recall everything I did for this blog. The first thing here are the navigation tools. The dashboard has everything in it to connect with friends, to edit my settings and to manipulate the html/css part of this blog. I'm trying to say that 90% of editing the blog's "looks and feel" should be done through this palette. Another thing here is the topic that I should post must basically be the topics that I want to talk, for me to easily come into the scene. Some sort of interest, experiences and activities that I've made are the common topics that must be posted here. To make sure that it is simpler for me to make a post. Lastly are the basic SEO tools and techniques that must be implemented again to make search engines visit me again. Literally I'm trying to make a recap of all the sites that help me do this. Also try to reinstall and update the add-ons that will help me evaluate my blog. The SEO book is the first thing in my mind. PR checkers in my browser tabs essentially is the first wonder of this blog. So I've done that while making this post. hehe :D

This won't be easy for me. But with my friends around and with google on my side this thing wouldn't hurt that much. :D

Standing 2 meters 46.5 cms (8 Feet 1 inch) tall, he won the latest title of the guiness' book of record's tallest man alive. Apparently he seem as tall as the bridge's wall in the picture. lol.

Literary, Games, Presentations, Foods - ESPC Holiday Event

I should rate 10+ to the organizers of the successful event of our office holiday literary competition. Despite the time constraint and the conflict of schedules everything goes fine. The venue, decorations and preparations of the sound systems are absolutely well arranged that made the whole event bashing-stunning gorgeous super extra-successful afternoon for us all. Lol (am I over reacting? <----not really :p).

Ok I don't have the pictures to share but just to give you a hint I'm gonna tell you what happened. All Eversun agents including the admin were assigned to color groupings. The groups were also entitled to perform dance, song, comic strip and parlor games. From the group everyone were assigned to their individual roles to do.

There is only a very short time to prepare so we have to figure out our strategies on have to beat the other team. Then on, every group has been silently planning to the final performance.

As the event went on Yesterday, I saw in everyone's eyes the eagerness to win the big price. hehe. Though we also want to give it our best in our performance. And every one of us never wanted to go their and do nothing. It's a shame in our part not to do at all. It is a competition and for the sake for fun as well.

So as for the recap... the blue team got the 5th place. While giving all out our best, the yellow team( which is my team ) is in the fourth place. Our best wasn't good enough. :(... Then capturing the third place was the fire burning Red Team which was organized by sir reymund. (nanukad si angkol. hekhek). Next is the unpredictable team of the admin. They were in the second place. Leaded by the singer/dancer, our manager Maam Ju and the rest of the team of admins...Lastly was the ever well organized group of green team who've won the first place. As I have seen it, they deserved that win. All out effort and the great performance of every member have made they achieve that award. They all are talented and give it all out with costumes and the props.

All in all congratulations to the winners. Raffle draw winners and to everyone who participated! Indeed that was glorious for us all.

Mystery Way Back Home

Despite the Kadayawan celebration in Davao City, I still went home last weekend. Sure thing I missed a lot of activities, gimicks and events that happens once a year in the City. Perhaps it make me happier going home than joining in events like this.

Nevertheless my weekend still have to be very incredible. Of course together with my family back home, I realize that more than anything else and big events it's so nice to be at home. Playing around with my ate's dog, doing my household chores and sleeping a lot is a great fun way back my place. Besides that we have been in a bonding with my mother and my ate. As simple as eating, watching TV and listening to music is much way relaxing than having myself in a big crowd of people in the city. Although it also sounds fun to be at the city but I myself has been having a good time in our home. That's the greatest mystery way back home.

Going Physical

Recently I was thinking a better way to exercise. Most of my time in a week, I always sit, use the computer and do nothing "physical" that moves my body and sweat. It is all for nothing than a lame sit and relax. It makes my body slow like a sloth. This makes me bored all the time.

So from here on I want to have some movements. To have some workouts that must make me sweat. By that time I was thinking, I then consider buying an exercise manual. Something that will teach me how to do the basics of exercising. Good thing CDs and DVDs around Davao city are swarming all over the streets. hehe. With a matter of a second, unconsciously I find myself looking for an exercise demo tape. A muslim man offer me to try several DVDs that I was looking for. They've got my keywords. It's the "workout cd" which I was thinking all the time. lol. And that time on, I was struck by that dance demo tape. I don't really know if it really works for me but I will give it a try. After several test, negotiations and chats I decided to buy the cd called "Slenda". Though the title doesn't fit for me. awts. The thing is it is a 38 in 1 DVDs that will give me a choice of 30+ more of different exercise. That makes me excited to go home. I'm going physical now. hahhaha

By this few weeks my schedules are full. After several activities like my father's death anniversary, my sister's wedding and the town fiesta, my energy was getting low. So to heat me up my client gave me my task on Adwords. An online advertisement for online businessmen. At first I wonder how to get into the roof of this kind of system. That is why I tried my best to find a clue on how to learn adwords. Then I started googling. hehe. (That wouldn't be the exact term but I like it). Learning adwords is not an easy task. But definitely google provide much information about it. It has to be me that should be patient to find the real thing. To work it on. Since google provided the adwords learning center program, everything regarding controlling an adwords account is quite achievable.

Woot | Stolen Blogspot Address | I was Tricked

Hi guys. It's been several days since I made a post for this blog. Lately I was not very passionate on doing things like this. Because I was getting busy to something and definitely my blog was not as interesting as before. Something happens to my blog that everybody should know. I will share to you the trick that they did to me.

This isn't a big deal to me but I want that everybody should be aware to this. It started when I get bored to my blog and started to do something,explore, edit, etc. In the formatting section I saw the "edit blog address page". As soon as I saw that, I then thought of varying the text. The whole URL of the homepage. So I did have a little change in a while by removing two letters of my homepage(01). After clicking the "save changes" button my new URL was approved. Then after several minutes I decided to replace that URL again to my previous address. By doing the previous steps I easily came to that save changes button. Easy steps. But an error occur. Unsuccessful changes. Oh no! Someone was registered to that address. WTH! With that little span of time, I can't go back to my previous address anymore. I was tricked. Someone was following me. And replace the URL that I have been using before. OMG! that was the biggest mistake I made in the web world.

But it's ok. I just want to tell the world to avoid this to happen to you. :D

Back in the Court...Again

It's been 3 months since I was injured in basketball. Those lame days that made me feel weak and vulnerable. Awful time which I wasn't dreaming of. I need to have my energy back again.

So last Saturday I decided to play basketball again. I did step in the court for the first time after several days of rest. There's a feeling of hesitation and fear all the time. A fear which was made by that previous accident. Nevertheless it didn't matter as long as my passion in playing the game was there.

The dilemma of entering the court once again was intensified once we started a negotiation with the other team. They won't play with us unless there is something worth their effort. We need to have a bet. Darn! We then came into a situation of no choice other than to just give them what they wanted. They want our money badly! So from that time on we have to surrender what we have and play the game and have fun all the way.

As the game started I was a complete jerk. lol. I can't even shoot at the free throw line that was suppose to be my comfort zone. hahaha. Anyway, as expected, we lose the game. But I was proud to play it the way I thought it should be. I was having fun. I've played as tough as possible. I gave them my best despite my condition. I ain't in the perfect shape but it didn't matter very much. So that was an awesome performance in my part. (hehehe. ayaw na mo palag ha.)

By the time I will step again in that same court at my real chakra level, I'm gonna bet them all that I have in my pocket. That's my way of a ninja! haha.(hmmmnn. to tell you I only have 50 pesos in my pocket nyahaha!). Let's get it on!:p

Mother's Day In the City

Last Sunday was the day of all the mothers all over the world including my mama. With regards to the celebration of mother's day, I requested my mother together with my ate to come to Davao and celebrate mother's day.

First thing we did from our various activities that day was going to the church. We went to San Pedro church and celebrate a mass. We were aiming to have fun all day and to let our mother feel her day. After the mass we went to Pink sister as requested by my elder sister. She wants us to visit to the place and offer some prayers for our family. The place is solemn that is good for meditation and reflection for ourselves. Good thing we went there to atleast have the best time for ourselves to talk to God solemnly.

After going to Pink sisters we went to NCCC mall to have some food. We choose the family size Hawaiian pizza of Greenwich for our snack. Lol. Low cost yet good enough to fill our empty stomach. After eating we saw a booth that offers a free facial cleaning for all the mothers if we buy a piece of their product. So what we did is to by a small "girl thing" facial enhancement potion and let mama be service with the facial care attendant. That was funny and exciting event since it is the first time that mother tried that thing. And the result is...as expected,awesome. She look nice and pretty afterall. hehehe. :p

One of the most important part in our house is the Floor. The floor is a part that would contribute the interior design's elegance and beauty. Upon entering a house the first thing to attract anybody's attention is the flooring. It would be better or best if it has a unique quantity or it has to be in perfect blend with the walls and furniture. A resounding glory awaits for those who owned a type of floors with the most luxurious materials.

The floor will also affect the performance and presence of every individual that hangs out your lobby. The color combination and the texture of a floor has something to do with one's thought. Say for example in our office, our floor is a yellowish rough textured square-like tiles all over the place. The color enhances our level of energy to keep on working regardless the task. The texture also keep us feel safe and comfort while walking or moving around the place. It has to be the floor that exhibits the beauty and wellness of the area with respect to human's presence.

A Week Hunting Stale

This week I heard that my Detsi contracted an electrician to install the AC for their room. I was shocked because that was not according to the plan. Somehow it is also a good idea to have it at home especially this season of summer. The weather is very hot and it is comfortable to sleep while it's cold. Even though it is not very important to have such luxury, we still have to support her decision. But anyway sometimes it is nice to have something like that in our home. The comfort when the weather is hot helps us feel at ease. An AC at home surely fills the whole room with many evacuees. Lol.(I'm one of them.)

Having the AC at home requires the knowledge of everybody to take care such equipment. It is important to have it working effectively so that it lessen the stress of the equipment or it lessen the cost of its power consumption. Electricity and Safety

My experience with electricity isn't very awesome. It is not even as reliable as a true expert. But one thing I understand is the flow of electrons which is harmful to us or to the appliances that we are working on. Handling electricity is a tough job. It requires an appropriate knowledge on the field to avoid accidents. Mostly we are taking this fact for granted.

An example was that once I asked my cousin to fix the wiring and the bulb outside the house for the lighting. I was confident because he have done that before. What I didn't know was his experience was just based on the pattern and not with accordance to theory. I was suddenly shocked when I heard that the circuit breaker trip-off. And my first proclamation was it has been a short circuit. Then I checked the continuity of the lines. Thereafter, I conclude that the reason why the breaker trips off was due to short circuit. It has to be fixed right away or else it would damage the other equipments or in worst case it could create fire.

With this experience I was immediately alarmed that I should be very careful. I with the little knowledge with continuity should check his works. Or for best results I should ask the expert. Even me should know that it really helps us for safety, assurance of quality and time to finished the job well done. I've visited few of my blogrolls. There I've read different experiences,views of life and moments that everyone of them wrote in their walls. So I was also encourage to put something personal with my post. Recently I was fond of creating paid post that merely lost the essence of giving a personality to my blog. Many faces I have shown but the real me is hiding behind the walls.

Perhaps it is better to start of giving some words here in our office. By the way our friend and my seatmate Jigs is about to transfer to nightshift. Jigs is used to be a " talking myna " in the lane. He has been consistent in his words. I've learn a lot from his philosophy. "Life is all about laughter". Indeed I can't see anything on his face other than fierce laughter. All of us in the lane drastically lost the so called natural medicine of laughter but his image and icon of being a clown have remained in the depth of our hearts.

Anyway this isn't a tribute. lol.(Peace Jigs!). I'm pointing out the idea that life won't always be the same. The only constant we knew were changes. The lane that we were crossing all day isn't the same as before. There are times that we meet new people and times that these people fades away. A cycle that no body knows the pattern. But despite this sad words I'm telling you, always remember that we always have the right to be happy. Laughter is anywhere. Laughter isn't just in one lane. Along the straight or even zig zag lines we could always see happy faces in the end. :D

When I was given a task by a client on Twitter, little by little I learned something about it. In my own understanding Twitter is not a typical social network that tend to send updates(e.g. status message, uploaded images, added friends) of both direction. The Blind Side Of Tinker

I was very fond of DOTA that's why oftentimes I write my opinion and ideas.

Last Friday while we were playing with my office mates, Tinker was very ferocious. Tinker plays a good start and ends with same stats if nobody find its weaknesses. Fair enough to disable enemy heroes. Standing straight in the battle ground with fierce brute...unless you know its disadvantages.

In my several observations and testing tinker indeed is a good support hero. It could even play the role of the whole team. Very flexible in different areas, systematic and unpredictable. What I'm trying to point here is to find its weakness. Putting myself as a player, I hate whenever an enemy chooses the Tinker. Hassle starts when tinker moves from map to map to kill heroes. Concentration is needed in order to anticipate its moves. Sacrificing the needs of creep "last hit".

Nevertheless when Tinker maximize its skills everything would be in chaos. With the items like Guinsoo and Shiva's guard, a beyond Godlike situation it is. From the idea of Tinker's power dominating the field I rather think of something to stop the momentum. Searching Tinker's "blindspot" and disable it's pace. Well,in my humble opinion, it is not that Tinker is good at the start; it only matters when it goes unstoppable till the end. So when will be the right time if we can't stop him at the beginning of the game? My answer would be at the mid game.

My observation sees a weakness of tinker if Tinker has to do "farming". In order to farm he has to have a Boots of travell, March and Rearm to do the combo. There is indeed a pattern of its movement. Tinker should move from lane to lane using travel portal and rearm combo. My point of telling you this pattern is to let you realize that this kind of strength of Tinker is only effective when we can't anticipate the pattern. This is the right time to capture the blindspot. This time Tinker would probably be "creeping" alone. Nobody's with him during this period of time. That is why this is the right time to ambush, gangbang and disable him in the game. LOL.

Similar to Pain's(naruto shippuuden) weakness, the 5 seconds blindspot rendered. I see him weak this times that tinker should urgently acquire the position to go creeping by himself. Tinker should go alone to perfectly perform this actions. The basic is to act like a predator. A silent hunter waiting for the right time to catch the prey. Anticipating the lane that he teleports. And simultaneously attack to be more effective. At least 2 heroes dedicated on ambushing tinker to stop him effectively. Try this cause it is effective for me. Happy hunting! :P

Since I went home last weekend then I will be going back to Davao this morning. I tried to come back in Davao as early as possible so that I won't be late. I am expecting a huge crowd that will cause traffic in the city since today is the 72nd "Araw ng Davao".

When I came here earlier this morning the parade is about to start. In Magsaysay park, a group of participants gathered along the streets and the flow of vehicles started to slow down. It's getting late already to go to office. Still I tried my best to come on time. The time I arrived in my room, I quickly fixed myself and ready to go. Moving so fast like the flash David I saw the parade. The "Indak2x sa Kadalanan" is now starting to fill the streets of Davao. I feel amazed watching the classic parades of the Davao tribes, drummer boys and the Mutya ng Davao candidates. I really felt the pressence of Davao's best. That was a good experience for me. I haven't seem this parade for many years now. whew!

Before that I have to logged in before I get late. So then I forced myself not to be interrupted by the parade. That's why I came here in the office exactly on time. I was almost late again.

When I woke up early this morning, my room was dim. I though that was 3 am but then I realize that it was already 6:30 in the morning. Whew. Quickly I got up from bed and prepare myself to go to work. I made it as quickly as possible so that I won't be late again.

My point here is to comment on the situation. What the heck was happening to our weather conditions? I can't even see the sun at 7 am. That makes me think that something really is not going right here. Summer time is actually about to come but still our place seem so cold. The sun isn't shining in time and the weather changes rapidly. I don't know what's the reason behind this phenomenon but I've got to say that this is not generally a good sign. Hopefully, sooner or later everything will be alright. Have a sunny days everybody!

While in the mode of thinking of a better trap combination I was in a dilemma on what to choose for the base since they all balanced. Is it the explosive or the polar base? Given the stats below they both share better components of a good base compare to the previous mousehunt bases like the target or the stone. This morning I was observing my seatmate's work on photoshop CS3. I found something interesting and something useful for a newbie. That was the Gradient Tool in Photoshop. Before, I was wondering how to create an image like this below.I realize that this is because of the power of the gradient tool. The tool isn't too hard to understand. What we need to do is to know the tool. Basically this is just a Gradient tool at the Background to Transparent mode. Together with some blending options like drop shadows and stroke. As simple as that will create a good image like this.

Injury Time Out

Last Saturday was our tune-up game for the next season of our Eversun Basketball game headed by Commisioner Ariel P. That was suppose to be a practice game that leads to an accident. During the game, me and the player from Broken Arrow team was fighting in position to get the ball. While on "tug of war" to get the ball,I lose the grip from my right hand that left my other hand tight to the ball with that guy's arms. My elbow was twisted when he force to grab the ball along with my left elbow. That seemingly dislocate my elbow joints. Arggh! That really hurts.

Good thing Erwin D. was there to assist me. He was one of our teammate and officemate who have been an experienced physical therapist(he's licenced :D). After he saw my elbow he quickly made a jutsu move that turns my bones back into position. I was very lucky that time. In fact I brought with me my Phil-am card that I paid nothing after the check up in San Pedro hospital. They already paid the consultation fee and the X-ray. :P. Also thanks to everyone who help me especially to Erwin and Majar who walked by me to the hospital. ;)

The image below was taken from my inventory page. I only owned 9 stale cheese in the moment for my test. Stale cheese was known to be one of the recipes to create an ancient cheese. Ancient cheese is an alternate cheese of Radioactive Blue Cheese to catch mice in the Burroughs region. Therefore it is important to make stale cheese if you don't have enough +SB in your account.

The conditions are:

1. Standby anywhere in the two suggested place, the Mausoleum or the Catacomb.

2. Use a superStale trap combos.

e.g. deathbot and the explosive base.

Sinister Portal, Rocketine or the Tacky Glue Trap is also good for the set-up. Elite players like Jigs Peligrino and Jacob Amanza prefer the Rocketine and explosive base set-up for this matter. The cheese is made everytime a turn will turn into stale. Make sure no mouse will attrack to your trap or else it will cripple you big points or steal your golds. Too bad! tsk tsk tsk.

In my humble opinion, based from the stat, the sinister portal has an advantage among the traps. Because it has n/a attraction rate and n/a luck which means less chances of getting any attention of different type of mice whether it is a physical type or a shadow type. ;)

Hey Guys! I just want to remind all the Roman Catholics that today Feb. 25, 2009 is the Ash Wednesday. As Roman Catholic or as Christian this is the day of repentance and the beginning of the Lenten season. A good day to say sorry to our sin,faults and imperfections. Though this is not necessarily just the only day to do the repentance. Any person at any time, regardless of the religion and beliefs can say sorry for the sins they have done. To emphasize the essence of the celebration, this is the day to reflect on what have happen to the past, our failures, our troubles, why we encounter hindrances and anything that reveals our weaknesses. The ash is the symbol of our penitence. We came from the ash and we will go back to ash; as the word from the Bible have once said. Be thankful to God for he is the redeemer. He loves us unconditionally despite our sin. He is willing to forgive. He is ready to accept us back into his arms as his beloved children.

So maybe this afternoon I'm gonna go to church. This is a once in a year routine where I always try not to miss.

I haven't mention anything here about our work-out routine. Days ago we were enrolled at the beeflex somewhere in Davao Doctor's Hospital for our daily execise. Together with my officemates Rodney,Richard,Clent,Kurt and Jeremy we have our afternoon sessions in the gym. And now it will be the last week of our contract in the BeeFlex. We were planning to transfer to another location for another set of experiences and to compare their equipments. Actually my seatmate Rodney is the one researching on the best place for us to workout. He found out that Smashville has better equipments, facilities and set of views(whew)than the other gym around the city. He also realized that the said institution offers a promo price that is quite a good offer for us. So as we ended up our 1 month session in Beeflex, we are now about to enroll at the new and exciting gym the Smashville. Looking forward to see new things around. I can't wait to see the results.lol

Dota Enigma DarchRow

Dota is one of my favorite offline games. That's why from time to time I used to post something about Dota heroes and strategies. Although I am not as good as other players around, somehow I can share my ideas on how to win a game.

Based from the latest dota versions 6.58-6.59c , Enigma the Darchrow brought me an interest. I find it easy to handle and easy to dominate taking advantage of the new changes of his skills.Though not everybody is aware that Enigma is kind of "Buggy" with this recent versions. To start with, I'm gonna tell you about the Conversion(second skill) new tricks. With the new versions, Enigma's Eidolons(converted creep) seem to have a bigger attack damage or maybe faster attack speed. That sound a killer start for me. Also another advantage of Conversion is the new converting scheme of the skill. Enigma can convert the opponent's creeps into Eidolons with the additional gold bonus. Similar to the "hand of midas", but still converted the creeps into 3 Eidolons and kill the converted creep. Or consequently it will deny a converted creep from the batches of your own creeps.The key is to convert the opponent's creeps into gold and strengthen the enigma's pushing ability that will bring an early game push situation. I have to emphasize the Eidolon's killer instincs. Careless enemies will surely die if he/she don't know the eidolon's attack power.

It could be a "mortal sin" when you forget your girlfriend's birthday. War started. Chaos will reign upon the earth once it's done... Sometimes this fact could happen to you. What you need to do now is to "prepare for awesomeness". hehe.

So let's get started.First thing to do here is to forget about making excuses. You have to agree with her that you screwed up, and admit it once and for all. What you should to is to take her out. Go shopping with her, plan on watching a movie together and finally take her for a nice and cosy dinner. Hmmmn. Hopefully this should work. :(

The Meatless Pugna

Dota players are very familiar with this little creepy doll walking in the battle ground. Pugna indeed is not as strong as other ace heroes. He has low HP, not a stunner and low damage. Besides he is one of the meatless clans of heroes( aside from Clinx and King Leoric). But somehow Pugna could be a great hero. In versions 6.58 and 6.59 pugna is one of the best heroes I ever played. Shhhh it seem a bug has been crawling all over this versions.

What I was trying to tell you are pugna's strength in the battlefield. In the versions above Pugna could be very powerful depending on the player's build. For my experience playing this hero he has done all the best for a team play. Pusher,stopper,hitter and support at the same time.

Ok let's get started. I wanna let you know where the bug is. Pugna's nether blast is at max when it reaches to level 3 and slow's down at level 4. So the trick is let it stay at level 3. I have observed this phenomenon when I throw the nether blast to 1 set of creeps that killed the ranged creep behind. That seem a greater damage compared to a normal 250 damage of his level3. That is why I use the skill to "spam" and earn gold at the beginning of the game.

Therefore what I did was... Nether blast, Stat,Nether blast, Stat, Nether blast, Stat,life drain etc.

By the way I bought a lot of clarity potions for a longer stay in the field. I didn't have any healing potions like tango or any healing items. In behalf of that I just use my life drain to the creeps. So in early game I've got radiance and strenght type power treads. That would give me a better HP and an attacker type of hero. Here's the clue. Nobody can beat him without stunning or silencing. So choose those opponents that is not capable to this. Or if ever they are, use the timing to now interfere the plan of pawnage.

Basically in the game I have Radiance,STR type power treads, Heart,SNY,Guinsoo,Lothars. LOlz

Cold or flu are some major reason that we are sneezing. But in line with sneezing, sex would have something to do with it.

Mahmood Bhutta, an ear-nose-and-throat (ENT) specialist at Wexham Park Hospital, recalls the case of a colleague's middle-aged patient who had bouts of sneezing after thinking about sex. Bhutta and the rest of his team did a research on the correlation of sneezing and sex. By collecting the information survey of 20 men and women about the phenomenon, 17 responses admitted sneezing after thinking of sex. Three other said sneezing was triggered by orgasm.

Bhutta and Maxwell speculated that thoughts of sex or even orgasm possibly activated our subconscious nervous system, which could lead to sneezing bouts in some, according to online reports.

The study was published in the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine.

My Favorite Naruto Moment

I posted this picture for two reasons. First is simply because I love the way it presented. Naruto's grand entry is very exciting. He was escorted by the best frog ninjas from the frog land. Second is to let the readers know the update of Naruto's journey. For a short summary of the latest naruto manga episode, pain is already doing his thing in Konoha. The search for the 9 tail kyubi(inside naruto) has started. The city of Konoha was ravage by pain's power unbelievably destroying the whole place. Even the greatest ninjas from the village that tried to stop pain has no match to his rage. Casualties are increasing. Hatake Kakashi that once naruto's sensei is also wounded.

In the picture below, naruto and pain's face off is coming. Readers are craving for the next episode. It's two weeks now that manga admin are not releasing their latest updates. Go Naruto!

Chances of Cancer to Child on Pregnant Smokers

Melbourne Austrialia: Latest research has found that babies born from smoking mothers were getting a higher risk to cancer. Australia's New South Wales Cancer institute found out that babies from a smoking mother during pregnancy most likely get cancer five times more than a non smoker mother.

Those babies will also have a lower birth weight, born prematurely and most likely be admitted to a neonatal intensive care unit for various examinations.

Jim Bishop from the institute said it is not known yet whether smoking is the direct cause of the cancers.

"We've not yet made the direct link between pregnancy and smoking and those poor outcomes leading to childhood cancers," he was quoted as saying in an ABC report.

"But it's clear that we can do something about those complications and that is not to smoke during pregnancy," he added.

The Minister for Medical Research, Jodi McKay, said while more definitive research needs to be done, it is clear pregnant women should not smoke.

"There is a risk of childhood cancer," she said. "We are yet to define that link, but the risk is there and we need to warn mothers about that," she added.

The bottomline is simply stop smoking whether there is the risk or not. We have been warned that cigarette smoking is dangerous to our health. If we have no concerned with our health just don't share the risk to the innocent children.

I was a big fan of Naruto series. The story, the philosophy and the love triangle makes the Naruto world more exciting. This is an awesome picture of an Iphone with the hologram technology. Once a technological prediction was prevailed that something in 2050 a hologram technology might be invented. The phone will be integrated will hologram voice call which will help the user see the hologram picture of the caller. Watch out on it for the year 2050. To see this, today's people must be health conscious to reach this age. Stop smoking, minimize alcohol or fats and exercise for a good health. Love this phone? Buy one by 2050. lol.

Lucky to those who watched the “Obama/McCain,” US election on CNN, to noticed a hologram of a female reporter. This used a few cameras on a 360 degrees axis and a very large "green screen" to create the illusion. Now the question is when will we see or use the hologram technology? Sooner or later there would be something like this.

Flee the Dog Flea Away

One of the problem we are facing in our home are the Fleas. We raised dogs and cats which is a home of the Fleas. Mostly dog's skin is one of the favorite place where the fleas want to spend their lifetime with. Our dog named Cumi is actively roaming around running with friends. He is prone to flea attacks even we keep on cleaning him daily. The problems spreads when Cumi sleeps on our sala sets or chairs which is for the visitors. We found out that fleas are roaming around in this places after cumi stayed there. We can't find any solution but to gather those fleas and burn them. We should find a direct solution. A solution that would kick the fleas butt within cumi's skin. Or some other reliable solutions that will surely keep us away from those parasites. As I surf the net I read about flea traps.I have no idea about it but it sounds interesting. Flea traps will not directly kill the fleas but rather offers a bait to keep the fleas into the trap. Sound good since that trap would do more better than simply killing the fleas. It would also kill the eggs which will prevent those eggs from hatching to another flea problem. In this case the traps will flee away the flea no matter what.

Hopefully this problems will now have a solution. Our problems to our pet and generally in our home shall now be regarded by some kind of a strategy to solve such flea attacks. We always wanted our home to be clean that is free from different kinds of discouraging factors. All seem have a solution now from the flea traps. I think that trap comes from an expert's advice which has been tested for the market. I rather try this one than to keep on tracking those fleas myself over and over again. The problem should end as soon as possible no matter what. Soon this will flee dog flea away.
